ZOTAC intros GeForce 9800 GTX+ and 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition Graphic Cards in India

High-performance and high-clocked speed are the key features when it comes to graphics card. Recently, we reported on XFX GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics card that delivered high speed and superior performance. To maintain the same essential attributes, ZOTAC International, a leading NVIDIA partner, has rolled out two new graphics cards, namely GeForce 9800 GTX+ and 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition, in the Indian market.

Based on NVIDIA’s GeForce 9800 graphics architecture, both the high-performance graphics cards carry vital features such as 128 screaming-fast processor cores, 512MB GDDR3 memory, 256-bit memory interface and DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 version. The other common features include Dual Dual-link DVI, HDCP, NVIDIA Lumenex Engine and Quantum Effects Technology. Moreover, the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics processor provides a highly clocked speed of 738 MHz with 2200 MHz to ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+; and 750 MHz core and 2300 MHz memory clock speeds to ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition.

The ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ delivers an ultra-fast clock speed of 1836 MHz, whereas the ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition offers 1890 MHz clock rate. These high-speeds ensure a perfect support to all 3D related tasks, ranging from gaming to high-definition video playback.

Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International, explained, “With the latest generation of ZOTAC GeForce 9-series graphics cards, the clock speed and performance of each individual processor core has become an important performance aspect. The highly clocked processor cores in our ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ and GeForce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition deliver higher performance in gaming as well as NVIDIA CUDA compiled applications, resulting in a graphics card that delivers phenomenal performance for work and play.”

Certified for Windows Vista with Aero user interface, the latest versions also employ DirectX 10 with Shader Model 4.0 and OpenGL 2.1 to present brilliant visuals and phenomenal frame rates while accessing 3D games and applications. They also incorporate NVIDIA PhysX technology that has the ability to devolve physics processor to the graphics processor in the compatible games. This assures more realistic effects and dynamic in-game physics.

In the included single 3-way SLI ready platform, users can also integrate up to three ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ series graphics cards that deliver up to 2.8x higher frame rates for smoother game play. The ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ series also makes use of NVIDIA HybridPower technology to turn of the system and reduce power consumption.

Berger added, “Consumers are still happy with the quality of DVDs, which is why our ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ and GeForce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition with NVIDIA PureVideo HD processing enhances and cleans up standard-definition content to look beautiful on high-definition displays. However, when consumers are ready to upgrade to Blu-ray high-definition discs, our ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ and GeForce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition will be ready to decode the content in hardware for smooth playback and brilliant visuals.”

ZOTAC’s latest graphics cards include NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology and hardware decode acceleration technology to deliver high-definition video playback with virtually no CPU utilization.

Customers can purchase ZOTAC 9800GTX+ for INR 14,300 and ZOTAX 9800GTX+ AMP Edition for INR 15,500 in India.
